Napier Barracks Appeal
The Home Office continues to place vulnerable refugees into the inhospitable Napier Barracks, despite numerous watchdog warnings. Already traumatised by war, torture and trafficking, many of these individuals suffer further declines in mental health, caused by the devastating conditions in which they are trapped. Despite this, people are still being moved into Napier, with plans to increase capacity even further.
Care4Calais volunteers are working hard to support people in the camp, providing much-needed emergency aid and legal advice to people who have arrived with nothing. No one should have to live in such catastrophic conditions, let alone those who have already suffered so much.
