An amazing effort for #StopRwanda

An amazing effort for #StopRwanda

Massive congratulations to @john bourbon who, at 70 years old, completed the York 10k today – despite injuries – while promoting our #StopRwanda campaign. With that kind of spirit we really are unstoppable!

John and wife Sally have volunteered in Calais multiple times and are staunch advocates for refugees rights. Never has their support been more needed. In just four weeks we will be back in court to fight against the reprehensible Rwanda policy, which the government seems more determined than ever to push through.

Innocent refugees, having escaped unimaginable horrors, will face the further horror of detention and deportation half way round the world. Please, we need every single person with a conscience to add your voice now:

1. Buy a #StopRwanda t shirt, take a photo, post it on socials, wear it out and about, talk about it and tag us @care4calais => https://bit.ly/RWDtee

2. Download or make a #StopRwanda card and take picture of yourself and/or your friends holding it. Post the pic on your social channels and tag us @care4calais => bit.ly/RWDbanner

3. Come to the demo on 5 September in London or meet us at the Notting Hill Carnival to show your support
