Ben & Jerry say #StopRwanda

Ben & Jerry say #StopRwanda

We’ve got the coolest news! We’re udderly euphoric to say that the planet’s coolest ice-cream makers, Ben and Jerry of Ben & Jerry’s are today supporting our #StopRwanda campaign. These two guys are have become global icons through their ethical campaigning, and their support really shows that the whole world is now turning against the UK Government’s brutal Rwanda plan. To have them on board makes us happier than a bucketful of their chocolate chip cookie dough flavour.

Ben and Jerry have been making ice cream since 1978, when they started out in a disused petrol station in Vermont in the USA. Their flavours and wholesome ingredients have become loved all over the world, and they’ve made huge impacts with their ethical campaigns, from Rock The Vote to Fair Trade to Black Lives Matter. They refuse to stay neutral in the face of unethical actions – which is they they’re taking a stand with us against the Rwanda policy.

This Government’s plan to forcibly deport innocent refugees to Rwanda is horrific, and we’re increasingly seeing all sort of people in many different countries taking action to protest it. We’re working against it every minute of the day, and if we know that if everyone works together, we can stop the plan happening. But we need you to help.
