Boots donations make big difference to refugees

Sometimes our job is hard. Sometimes it feels like we spend all day saying ‘no’ to people; no I’m sorry I know you’re cold but we don’t have any more coats; no I’m sorry I understand how desperately you need a phone but we just don’t have any.
But sometimes good things happen. Today I saw people wearing the boots we gave out a couple of weeks ago, and that makes me so happy! I know that those people have warm dry feet, and will do all winter. I know that if we do nothing else we have made a real difference to someone.
Waterproof walking boots are, to me, one of the best things we can do. The difference from having permanently wet feet, walking miles in broken sodden shoes, is life changing.
Please help us to do this again. There are so many more in need. A really good pair of waterproof walking boots costs just £20. Please make that difference to someone’s life this winter by donating here: http://bit.ly/2PaqcZQ
