Care4Calais volunteers deliver aid drop to Napier Barracks residents

NAPIER BARRACKS – UPDATE 5 DAYS POST FIRE:
Our local Care4Calais volunteers worked with Kent Police today to organise an aid drop of blankets, bottled water, fresh lemons, fresh ginger, vitamins, tea, coffee, sugar and lots of hand gel that was successfully accepted at Napier Barracks.
Lilly, one of our London volunteers, drove all the way from Tooting and met Emily and Fliss in a nearby car park to hand over lots of duvets and towels. We are so glad we managed to get some donations to the residents today, and speak to some of our friends through the barbed wire surrounding the barracks. #StandWithNapier
Your images of support and solidarity have been a big boost to the residents. Please keep them coming. A huge thank you to Kent Police for their swift action and support.
We need YOUR help to get more blankets to the Napier residents as temperatures are dropping and it’s still cold inside – if you can get blankets to Kent, email [email protected].
