Children’s Home at St Omer Visit

This weekend we visited the french children’s home at St Omer near Calais. This is a place where the unaccompanied minors can go either as a stepping stone to a home in France or for a few days respite from life on the streets of Calais.
We always take supplies for the boys but it’s hard. The boys are really tiny and thin, and we don’t get many clothes donated that are small enough to fit them. Our volunteers spent the morning searching through our stores to find the smallest (and slimmest) items of stock we have, but still we often have to buy clothes that are short and slim enough for the boys.
This week we were able to send:
95 tee shirts
90 small boxer shorts
42 joggers
35 hoodies
200 pairs of socks
15 pairs of trainers
But more is always needed. If you can help please follow this link.
