Clothe a refugee for just £13

“What I wouldn’t give to bring a van load of small skinny jeans, or short joggers to Calais. I know what a huge difference it would make to the refugees here”
– said by one volunteer but a sentiment shared by others who were on our distribution today.

There are currently between 600 and 700 refugees sleeping rough in and around Calais, many of them under 18, and the living conditions are as bad as we have ever seen them. There is minimal access to sanitation meaning people do not get to wash or change their clothes, leading to skin infections, scabies and worse.
