Delivering boots and sleeping bags to refugees

Yesterday we delivered 200 sleeping bags and 230 pairs of brand new boots for refugees in Brussels. These refugees sometimes get forgotten with Calais in the media spotlight, but there are still so many of them there sleeping rough, and it’s vital that we keep helping them – especially when it’s freezing like now.

New boots in particular are one of the most expensive things we provide, costing around £15 each to get a good quality waterproof pairs. We can only afford to do this because the compassion and generosity of our donors, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
