This hot spell is awesome, but in Calais it’s dusty, dry and dirty. When you’ve been living outside for months and can’t wash or change your clothes it’s no fun at all. We don’t believe that any human should be forced to live like this.
There are 1,000 refugees sleeping rough in Calais and Dunkirk, and many hundreds more in each of Brussels, Cean and Paris. The world has forgotten them but we cannot. But our warehouse shelves are empty.
Urgent needs include:
-Jeans and jogging bottoms
– Boxer shorts
– Sleeping bags
– Shoes
– Mobile phones (the police have been smashing)
– Backpacks
If you have any of these things you don’t use please look in your cupboards now. We desperately need your help.
