Racing with refugees

One of the toughest things in Calais is morale. People can survive all kinds of things as long as they have hope; Calais drains it away, and watching that happen is painful.

However today our volunteers decided to challenge the refugees to a race – I have no idea why! Seeing them run in the sun made me smile. Hearing them laugh was priceless.
