Her name was Blessings..

Her name was Blessings..

“Send Them Back”

Her name was Blessings and no more will she cry. No more tears will roll down her cheeks. No more pain in her eyes. No more bad guys. No more will she lie awake in anguish. Her long lived suffering is over.

Her name was Blessings and no more will she hear people say “send them back”. No more will she hear their cruelty. Their thoughtless and carefree words that dehumanise and turn her into prey.

Her name was Blessings and no more will she be raped. No more will men penetrate her body, or penetrate her soul. No more will people take, endlessly take, all she had. Her money, her efforts, her wishes, her body, her dreams, her everything.

Her name was Blessings and she did not deserve this pain. She did not deserve to be used as a slave. She did not deserve to be abused. She did not deserve the knife. That cold piece of steel that slashed through her skin like a baker making dough. Three deep lacerations that were deliberately caused.

Her name was Blessings and she deserved some help. She deserved her wounds to be treated. She did not deserve to slowly die from infections that took weeks to kill her.

Her name was Blessings and we cannot show you her picture. Her picture is too horrific to show. The cuts are too deep. Too close. Too real. We’ve got to consider how you might feel.

Her name was Blessings and she died for a dream as simple as our everyday lives which are too much for us to share, apparently.

Her name was Blessings and there will be no need to “send her back”

This is an update to our story of 15 July 2018. It should have been different. Please take action now:
