Increased Calais refugee camp clearances ahead of Brexit

French police increased the number of clearances of refugee camps around Calais in the run up to Brexit, according to an aid expert. Hundreds of people living on the streets and industrial wastelands of northern France were ordered to move on in yet another ‘brutal’ crackdown.
