The people in this video look terrified and we need to help them. This hotel is in Bromsgrove, Birmingham and we have also heard reports of this happening in Coventry. If you are anywhere within reach of these areas please email [email protected] to help. We can’t leave vulnerable people scared and alone. We need your help.

We now have great teams working in around 20 hotels across the country providing aid and support to refugees – let’s see what we can do in Birmingham and Coventry.

Refugees are not illegal immigrants. They are asylum seekers waiting for their claims to be heard.

Refugees in the UK are given just £39 per week to live on – but if they are staying in a hotel they do not get any cash allowance at all.

They can’t work, sometimes for as long 12 months, while their asylum claims are being processed.

They are not taking the place of homeless people. Britain First accidentally targeted a hotel housing homeless people in London last weekend.

Our country has the resources to help everyone. We just need the right choices to be made.

For a full list of hotels we are working in or to join a local group email [email protected]
