Little Amal says #StopRwanda

Today we will be in court to challenge the Government’s Rwanda Policy.
It’s a momentous day for us, and for the thousands of refugees whose lives will be affected by the outcome. So it seems incredibly fitting that this morning Little Amal, the puppet who has become a figurehead for refugees all over the world, is publicly supporting our #StopRwanda campaign.
Little Amal is a ten year old Syrian girl. The name Amal is Arabic for “hope”. Last year, in The Walk project, she travelled from the Syria-Turkey border to the UK, meeting crowds and dignitaries including the Pope along the way.
Amal represents refugees who deserve dignity and need our help, and it is for them that we will be in court today. This ill-thought-through plan will cause so much suffering to so many, and it is vital we try to stop it.
Today we need your help more than ever, either join us at a demo => bit.ly/RWDdemo, or show your support on social media by sharing an image and using #StopRwanda. => bit.ly/RWDsocial
Together we can stop this barbaric plan and help thousands of refugees across the U.K. to feel safe. Join the movement now at Care4Calais.org/stop-Rwanda
