Massive fruit distribution on a sunny day in London

Last Sunday the sun was shining when our volunteers took boxes and boxes of fruit to one of the bigger hotels in London. For weeks we have been hearing stories of poor quality food, and how people just want to eat something fresh, so 1000 pieces of fruit was just thing we needed.

It is always lovely to see the guys getting involved, and there were so many people lining up and waiting respectfully, making sure that everyone got something at the distribution. Our volunteers spent the time talking, laughing and sharing experiences with the residents and with each other.

This is what we wish the media would be showing – the small moments, good days and smiles which bring us all together, regardless of our differences.
