More volunteers urgently needed in London

If you have some spare time to help vulnerable refugees in London, then we urgently need you to get in touch with us by emailing [email protected].

Our London volunteers are getting inundated with requests from asylum-seekers in the area who currently have almost nothing – no clothes, no shoes, no phones, no access to services, no social contact. We desperately need more help.

Areas in particular need of support include:

• Tower Hamlets/East London
• Islington
• Hounslow
• Croydon
• Hammersmith & Fulham
• Camden
• Wimbledon
• Slough

There are several things that need doing: collecting donations, organising distributions, visiting the refugees for friendly chats, liaising with hotel managers, organising online classes, fundraising and setting up strong support systems.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you live in a different part of the country. More volunteers are required up and down the UK so extra help is always needed.
