Paris update

Last night our team took a van packed full of blankets, duvets and clothes to Paris where there have been multiple evictions in recent weeks. Following the police action many people are no longer even sleeping in tents but are now forced to sleep on the streets and under bridges the same as in Calais.

The police have built barriers under many bridges in the centre in order to keep people away from seeking shelter. It is horrible to see them sleep in the area inbetween the crashbarriers of the highway which runs through the city.

The distributions went well, we had quite a lot of blankets (but still not enough). As well we distributed a lot of shoes. But next time we definitely need 40/41!!

Danika is amazing! Stunning woman
