#RefugeeWeek2019

#RefugeeWeek2019

It’s the last day of #RefugeeWeek2019 today so we’d like to invite you to pause and reflect.

Put aside the news feed updates for a moment and think about your personal connection to refugees and the current crisis. Maybe it’s thinking back to a refugee you’ve met, a story you read which moved you, or another experience which connected you to refugees and the issues they are dealing with every day. Maybe that means thinking back to your own or your family’s experience as refugees.

We each have our own stories, experience and reasons for caring and being involved – and today feels like a good day to think about what these are and gain strength from them.

Thank you for believing that there is a better way to treat refugees, and for everything you all do.

If you’d like to share any stories or thoughts below, please do!
