Smiles abound as 200 brand-new joggers distributed in Calais
Yesterday in Calais we distributed 200 pairs of brand-new jogging bottoms immediately after our food distribution.
It was such a relief! Weeks of neglect during the COVID-19 emergency has left people more dirty and scruffy then ever. Some were literally begging us for clothes.
To make this even better, we sourced some tight-fit track pants which are just the type they love. Nearly all refugees are super skinny due to a poor diet and a hard life. They hate wearing baggy clothes, and usually the cheaper ones that we get are not the ones they prefer.
But this time we spent hours scouring the internet and found some of just the ones they like for the amazing price of £4.50!
