Yesterday, something truly inspiring happened…
…Outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London, and around the country, hundreds of ordinary people came out to stand up for what they believe in. It was a truly special moment and we were incredibly proud. The Rwanda policy has split our country in a way reminiscent of Brexit. Feelings are running high, and it takes courage to speak out. The counter protest was tiny – less than ten people – they were simply loud and unpleasant. We were the many; they were the few. What we witnessed yesterday was so many of you who were willing to stand …
Ben & Jerry say #StopRwanda
We’ve got the coolest news! We’re udderly euphoric to say that the planet’s coolest ice-cream makers, Ben and Jerry of Ben & Jerry’s are today supporting our #StopRwanda campaign. These two guys are have become global icons through their ethical campaigning, and their support really shows that the whole world is now turning against the UK Government’s brutal Rwanda plan. To have them on board makes us happier than a bucketful of their chocolate chip cookie dough flavour. Ben and Jerry have been making ice cream since 1978, when they started out in a disused petrol station in Vermont in …

Since the 1960s Ken has directed many modern classics for cinema and TV, including Cathy Come Home, Kes, The Wind That Shakes The Barley and I, Daniel Blake. Along the way he’s worked with actors including Cillian Murphy, Robert Carlyle and even Eric Cantona. He’s also one of …

This weekend there will be demonstrations across the country against the Government’s plan to forcibly deport refugees to Rwanda. It’s vital that as many of us as possible demonstrate to show the scale of public opposition to this brutal and barbaric scheme. The phenomenal response to our #StopRwanda campaign has shown that people do not want this horrific action carried out in their name. Now we need to build on the momentum and make as much noise as possible to make the Government aware of public opinion. The demonstrations over the weekend will be followed by a demonstration outside …
