Tea for refugees

This year the hot tea service that we take out with distributions has been a great success. Green tea, chai tea, English breakfast all go down well. And coffee or hot chocolate can be a treat.
Started mid winter as desperate attempt to keep people warm, the demand has stayed high even in the hottest months. Sharing tea is a universal way to socialise and relax, it’s provided a welcome opportunity for small talk and informality during our afternoons with the refugees.
But everything has its cost, and we are motoring through supplies. To keep making hundreds of drinks every day we need donations of:
– coffee
– hot chocolate
– long life milk
– sugar
– plastic or paper cups (we are using 2-300 a day)
– disposable spoons or wooden stirring sticks
Any donations to help us buy the above in bulk every week would be very welcome!
Thank you
