Warm & waterproof clothing for refugees

Warm & waterproof clothing for refugees

Today, Calais is horrific. We woke up to strong wind and heavy rain and everyone was soaked by the time they got to work. Strong sea winds have the warehouse leaking in ten places and doors banging. But what about the refugees? They live outside with no protection from these elements and many are painfully ill equipt; it’s freezing outside.

We took supplies out this morning but we just don’t have enough. Saying ‘no – we don’t have’ to people under these conditions is simply heartbreaking.

The greatest demand is for:

-Waterproof walking boots
-Warm and waterproof winter coats (especially small and medium)
– Small tents

We can’t do anything without your help. For details of how to collect or donate any of the above items, or how to buy a coat or boots for a refugee, please go to
