Shoe Distribution

SHOES are one of the most sought after items in camp. So many people are in need of a pair and this makes it one of the hardest items to distribute both physically and emotionally.

Yesterday our incredible team of volunteers ran a targeted distribution to give out over €6,000 worth of new shoes – we don’t get to do this often so it was a big day.

This photo was taken when we had nearly finished distributing. You can see from the long line still waiting there are more people than we can count in need. As the winter approaches and new refugees arrive daily it will only get worse.
