Eid Mubarak: Welsh charity sponsors entire weekend food supply

This weekend our wonderful friends from ShareShop Mold made a fabulous donation to sponsor all our family food-packs for the entire weekend.

Thanks to them, 400 men, women and children had fresh food including halal chicken, vegetables, dates, juice and other goodies while they celebrated the end of Ramadan.

Operations Manager Caitlin Bold said: “I am really happy that we have been able to contribute towards the work Care4Calais is doing in Northern France and would like to say a huge thank you to the team for continuing to provide support during these extra awful times.”

Caitlin has previously volunteered with us in Calais. She said: “It made me think about these issues. I would always encourage people to go and see for themselves. There’s a real opportunity to go and make a difference. It’s so easy.”
