When I closed I didn’t leave with nothing, I left with experience

Having the idea to open a small Syrian pastry shop was great, finding the right place to open it in Brussels made me happy, I have done my best to drive the shop well, from the other hand I felt great as I was working and contributing into the society. sometimes I worked +12 hours per day, I have slept even there as I was working until late time.
After 4 months, as it didn’t work out and I didn’t earn any money from it, I had to close. 4 months working with all my power was not enough, but I am glad though because I know that I have done my best. energy, time and money, all were put on my little pastry shop.
At least, when I closed I didn’t leave with nothing, I left with experience and with a better version of myself. I was sad but I knew that it wasn’t the end, being foreigner in a country sometimes means you have to learn how to start things from the beginning and learn how not to feel bad about that.
